Awirl is a swirling body and display font based on kiwi fruit. Inspired by the playful nature of a kiwi, swashes sweep beneath words, while tall stems stretch into airy spirals that flirt with neighboring glyphs. Every sentence swirls with personality, from the flick of a lowercase f to the dashing tail of a swoopy y. Even punctuation joins the dance, dotting and dashing with graceful intent. Though playful at heart, the text still hums with readable charm, inviting curious eyes to follow each twist and twirl across the page.

Kiwi Exploration
Awirl’s playfulness comes from my interpretation of a kiwi. I picture a cozy, welcoming diner, serving kiwi as a part of its fruit salad. This is what inspired my context collage.
